Celerion, a global leader in clinical research, has exciting opportunity for a Clinical Conduct Specialist Assistant (CCSA) to join our Phoenix clinical team! 

The CCSA role works primarily with the Clinical Conduct Specialists (CCSs) and Clinical Study Managers (CSMs) on study set-up, logistics, and event oversight to ensure proper execution of study protocols for assigned clinical research studies. Additionally, the CCSA monitors and may perform clinical conduct events.  

Essential Functions:
  • Assist Clinical Conduct Specialists with study preparations and set up:   
- attend and assist in planning study meetings, such as initiation meetings, client visits,  etc
- conduct or assist in study-specific training, such as dry runs, specific training plans, etc
- order supplies for studies
- check check-in materials (i.e. books, urine cups, arm bands)
- reconcile/ship samples with appropriate documentation
- serve as backup for study conduct (CCA, CCT, Dosing Specialists) as needed
- enhance the study participant experience
- preparation of study conduct stations                                                                                             
  • Ensure adequate study set-up is complete                                                                                   
  • When necessary, order, label, and reconcile special client specific labels and tubes.                
  • Responsible for the regular installation, maintenance and calibration of all clinical equipment
  • Assist Clinical Conduct Specialist in completion of study activities:
-removal of study specific supplies from clinical area
-tear down of study specific set-up
-return of rental equipment
-clinical query resolution
-assist in clinical performing conduct events
-other duties as assigned
This is a Part-Time, Variable Scheduled role that requires a flexible work schedule (which may include the occasional evening or weekend to accommodate study events). 
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Post high school education in life sciences or medical training preferred
  • Internal conduct experience preferred (CCT, Dosing, Phlebotomy)
  • Prior operational/conduct clinic research experience preferred
  • Experience in accurate documentation of data preferred.
